STEP 1: Enter the length & width (to the nearest foot) and the depth (in inches) of the bed to be mulched in the top chart.
STEP 2: Click on the “Calculation Tab” and the yardage requirements for that bed will appear in the bottom chart.
STEP 3: Click on the “Clear” tab and repeat the same steps for each individual bed. (Be sure to write down the total yardage requirement for each bed as you complete the calculation.)
STEP 4: Add these yardage totals together and you’re done. Now you can contact MULCH FOR YOU to place your order with the confidence that you’re getting as much mulch as you’ll need to get your project done.
A longtime favorite of the Florida landscape, the shredded texture and orange-tan color brightens most any project. The moisture-holding properties of our shredded blend cause this mulch to retain water around the plants more than any other type of mulch. Our Shredded Mulch is specially ground to a fine texture that helps keep the mulch in place during Florida’s frequent rains.

(aka – Jumbo Nuggets, Big Bark, LPB) The large pine bark nugget ranges in size from approximately 3–5″ and is used primarily in large, open beds with minimum plant material. Due to the size of the nugget, this bark tends to last longer than most other mulches and is considered a good economical choice.

Chocolate Brown Mulch has a rich, warm brown color designed to resemble the natural hues of the traditional Pine Bark Nuggets. It will stay in place, especially on sloped areas, much better than Pine Bark ever could.

A favorite choice as a playground cover and in many landscape beds. Made from the same quality virgin woods as our natural mulch but chipped into 1–1.5″ pieces. Playground Chips remain in the natural, light colored wood state as opposed to the burnt orange color of the Shredded Mulch. Their bright, sunshine hue will brighten even the deepest, darkest corner of your most challenging landscape project.
